Meet Dr. Cecilia Luong, DDS: Expert in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry at Elements Dental Spa

• Dr. Luong is a native of New Orleans and moved to Baton Rouge in the summer of 2013.
• She received her BS degree in Biology from Xavier University and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU School of Dentistry.
• She is married to Michael Tran and has 3 boys, Leonidas, Maximus, and Popcorn, her pet morkie-poo.
• She speaks both English and Vietnamese and has been very active in her Vietnamese church community all of her life.
• She enjoys volunteering and has taken part in many health fairs and patient education events.

She loves to spend time caring for and educating children. During her high school and college years she taught piano lessons for children ages 5 to 17 and also taught Vietnamese language to kindergarten students. She believes in a good foundation of oral care for children at an early age and enjoys seeing children in the dental office to show them how to take good care of their teeth and gums.

Continuing education is very important to her so that she is able to give the best care possible. Hence, she routinely attends courses to stay updated with the newest research and technological advancements in dentistry.
